An LRT Story

Been busy?

That’s a plus point for you. For now, at least. ;)

It’s just that, “Ooo…. Ok…. Good..” is not exactly a repliable message, no?

I was in the train with Mun this morning, and someone stepped on her feet while going out of the train. Mun wasn’t wearing a properly covered shoes, and the person stepped on her feet TWICE. Mun just had to scream rather silently, and being the person that I am, I just had to laugh. ;)

So I told her about my friend who did this quiz on facebook, and the result was that he will be meeting his jodoh for the first time on a public transport, to which he commented (more or less) that he would like his jodoh to start first by stepping on his shoes. (I jokingly warned him to be careful of what he wished for, because the evil me had already planned to step on his shoes the next time I bumped into him on the train, so then his love story will be screwed haha).

Anyway, after what had happened to her, Mun and I decided that considering that people are rushing in the morning, and that there are just so many people going into and out the train,  having someone stepping on your feet is simply annoying. Plus, the chance is the person stepping on your shoes is on his/her way out of the train, so there could be no way for you to be promptly smitten by that person, because by then the person would already be gone., right? Unless the train is not so crowded, you two have been eyeing each other, and when both of you get off the same station, he/she accidentally stepped on your shoes. Now, that can be a good coincidence for a romance to start. ;) (I imagine one says, “eh sori, sori, I tak sengaja…” and the other one goes “eh, takpe, takpe, bla bla bla, sape nama?”) heh.

Mun and I went separate ways after that. Mun went to her office, while I went to KL Bar to fill in some forms and then board the train back to my office.

As I went out of the train, somebody stepped on my shoes. It was a guy, because I heard him saying sorry. I was in rush (and shocked), so I didn’t turn my head to see who he was.

When I reached the elevator, I laughed to tears and texted Mun. Wonderful morning.
